Tribal tattoo is a spiritual event and is associated with feelings. It is linked to pain persistence and the source of life to lose blood. This trio made sure that tattooing was no longer seen as art, but led people to communicate with spiritual beings, gods and magical powers.
Since it was thought that the body and mind are united, it was believed that the tattoo on the body part accompanied them in both worlds, the real world and the spiritual world. Some people even believed that one would only be handed over to the spiritual world with a lot of tattoos. They also believe that some tattoo designs they choose will give them an advantage when they go over to the spiritual world.
In many old dates skin incisions were also seen next to the tattoos and the skin was colored with washable colors. This tradition lasted until the beginning of today's civilization but gradually lost its popularity.
In the original, each tribe, each family, had its own tattoo design or scar so that distant relatives could be recognized. Nowadays it is a little different but in the end you get the same thing so that, some have the mascots of the favorite team tattooed or soldiers the coat of arms of the troop or of the gang they are united with so that at the end you can see where one belongs. Tattoos are also there for the comradeship, the brotherhood and to show which group you belong to and that the others respect and appreciate.
